What is a pickup location?

Pickup locations are either our Kings Farmstead Market or other spots where we’ve worked with a community member to establish a convenient place to deliver weekly orders of our Amish-grown and made foods to folks who value their goodness. Your order confirmation email will have all your pickup location details.

How do I choose my pick up day (Friday or Saturday)?

We currently offer preordering with pick up at our market every Friday and Saturday.   During the check out process, you can pick either Friday or Saturday in the Delivery Details area of check out. 

What do I need to bring along to the pickup location?

An order confirmation either printed out or on your phone is helpful, although not critical, as we will have a copy of the packing slip in your bag.  We’ll have your order in heavy duty paper bags with a recyclable ice pack - but it’s a good idea to bring a cooler if you have more than an hour to go home.

Can I edit my order that I already placed? 

Yes…But remember to have it finalized before the order deadline because after that you will no longer be able to change your order as our team will already have packed it up for you. If there is a need after the deadline, you may call or email us for changes and we will do our best to accommodate you.

When will my card be charged?

Your card will NOT be charged WHEN YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER. Since the final cost may be dependent upon the weight of some of what you order, we don’t charge your card until we process your order, which will happen the morning of your pickup/delivery. We kindly ask that you keep this process in mind when placing your order and make sure there are sufficient funds for the card to be charged at the proper time. Thank you!

Can I order after the deadline?

This is not recommended but since we have a hard time saying no to our customers, you can order over the phone until 9 AM the morning after the deadline. If we accept any late orders after the deadline and before 9 AM you will need to pay a late fee of $10. Please note: No late orders or order changes accepted after 9 AM past deadline, no exceptions.

How will I know my final amount to pay for the order?

Make sure to check your emails regularly prior to pickup/delivery day. You will receive an email that your order is packed with the final total and delivery details. This amount will be what gets charged to your credit card on file. If you do not get the “Order Packed” email by 10 AM on the morning of your delivery day, please contact us immediately!

What happens if I am late to pick up?

This is not a good idea but we understand that things can happen, like getting stuck in traffic or other delays. A tip here is to put a reminder on your phone or calendar with the time you need to leave to pick up. Please allow extra time as early is always best.  We charge 10% of the order total as a restocking fee for missed orders unless the exception is made accordingly.
