Go for the whole bird - and have the option of cooking it in in one piece, or portioned into parts. Pasture-raised, our chickens roam freely here on our farm - eating available forage and benefiting from the fresh air and sunshine. When needed, we do supplement their foraging diet with non GMO, soy, and corn free feed.
Their free range lives creates a bird with more beta carotene in its diet (hence a different hue to its skin) and a slightly smaller breast than conventionally-raised poultry - while having larger legs (since they wander far and wide foraging our fields).
We raise the chicken we sell right here at our Farmstead, in the fields just behind our Market.
